A Journey in Tailoring Excellence

 

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, I am proud to be the third generation in a family of skilled tailors. My passion for tailoring was nurtured from a young age, and I pursued this calling by honing my craft in Italy, where I studied the European art of tailoring. This experience enriched my family's tradition and prepared me for a new chapter.

 

In 2003, I moved to the United States. Initially, I settled in Florida to study English and architecture. However, my deep-rooted love for tailoring soon called me back to my roots, and I decided to channel my skills into starting my own career in the tailoring industry.

 

After working with high-profile clients and renowned stores like Bloomingdale's in Florida, I moved to the Virginia, D.C., and Maryland area in 2016. In D.C., I worked for Nordstrom and Louis Vuitton, gaining invaluable experience and refining my craft. Ultimately, I decided to create my own brand and offer my own services.

 

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, business slowed down, and I adapted by operating from home. This shift allowed me to continue offering my services and expand my reach to different types of clientele. Alongside tailoring, I now repurpose merchandise and create custom-made men's garments using high-quality fabrics from Italy and England.

 

As a traveling tailor, I visit clients' destinations, meeting them at their homes for their convenience. I've also launched a new website that allows clients from all 50 states to ship their tailoring needs for alterations. The website features sample videos and allows clients to schedule video conferences for detailed consultations. This innovative service ensures that clients who do not have a trusted tailor locally can still receive high-quality alterations from anywhere in the country.

 

Today, I continue to travel to clients in Virginia, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York, working by appointment only to ensure a personalized experience. Whether it’s a special occasion or a wardrobe upgrade, my mission is to help each client look and feel their best.
